Love Your Neighbourhood Campaign

We're playing with the idea of a "Love your Neighbourhood" theme for 2007 ... encouraging our church family to be local initiators of events like "Meet Your Street" and "Do Your Block"; street parties, acts of service like mowing a neighbours lawn, welcome packs for new residents. It's still taking shape, but here's a possible logo. I based it on a photo of a picket fence from dreamstime.com - simplified in Corel Draw. There's still plenty of time to work on it between now and the launch next January.

Hey Phil this reminds me of 'Desperate Housewives' advertising and I don't even watch the show! I dunno but it triggers something and makes me think and I reckon that's a good thing and it's clearly not just a rip off of DH. Was this your intention?

No - didn't even think of it. I just looked for a picket fence pic on Dreamstime and simplified it. But I wonder what made me think of a picket fence...?

By the way, take a look at our campaign strategy at http://loveyourneigbour.blogspot.com

Just a thought...
It would be a good thing to download and pay for the original photo from Dreamstime to show appreciation for the original work you took from.
